A PERSONAL NOTE
Approach
A Longer Horizon
What began as an amateur’s passion for wine and an investor’s sense of excitement led me to discover something far deeper in winemaking: the embodiment of my values and an opportunity to serve the land. After all, a responsible attitude toward the land is a continuation of my family’s management traditions dating back to the 17th century.
I believe that truly great wine can only be made by devoting all of your time and energy to the terroir and the people you work with. I am not a professional winemaker by education. Rather, I am a wine entrepreneur who is deeply involved in every process at the winery, from vinification techniques to marketing. And my main goal is to contribute to the long-term development of the estates, while simultaneously preserving historical memory and remaining open to the future.
Piedmont personifies respect for tradition and patience; Burgundy embodies craftsmanship and the ability to listen to the land. Winemaking can teach us far more than it might seem at first glance.
Respect and love for each individual plot have helped me make my projects an organic part of local life – agricultural, economic, and cultural. And guided by these same principles, our team is expanding its presence on new frontiers: in Tuscany, Argentina, and New Zealand.
